Loving musicals! at Hollywood Forever

I went to Hollywood Forever cemetery (by the way, what a name for a cemetery!!) for the fantastic screening organized by Cinespia . The season is already finish but note down in your agendas for the next one!! This is an unbelievable experience! Can you imagine going to a screening in a cemetery? Yes, you are surrounded by tombstones and mausoleums. Although, it is not a creepy experience.
I was lucky and enjoy Singin' in the rain with the fantastic Gene Kelly. This experience is not just to see a great film in a fantastic summer night laying on the grass. You can take your food, drinks, blankets and even cushions to be more comfortable!!! Do you need anything else?? Yes, some beautiful candles that some people brought!
In my obsession with cocktail hats I was mentally taking notes of all the dresses, accessories, styles...!! From now on movies are going to be part of my inspiration and it is so fun to see this musicals from the 40's and the 50's!!
Fui a un cementerio de Hollywood llamado Hollywood Forever, que menudo nombre para un cementerio..., a la fantastica proyeccion de una pelicula. Vamos, lo que conocemos por un cine de verano, organizada por Cinespia . La temporada ya ha terminado pero apuntar en vuestras para agendas la proxima!!
Es una experiencia inolvidable! Te imaginas ver una pelicula en un cementerio? Si, para los que os lo preguntabais, estas rodeado por tumbas y mausoleos. Pero no da mal rollo, es más un lugar pintoresco que otra cosa.
Tuve la suerte de disfrutar del maravilloso musical "Cantando bajo la lluvia" con el fantástico Gene Kelly. Pero esta experiencia no se reduce a una noche más en un cine de verano. Te tumbas en el césped, te llevas tu comida y bebida y hasta mantas y cojines para estar más cómodo!!! Se puede pedir algo más?? Si!! Velas!! que alguna gente llevó!!
En mi obsesion con los tocados, no paré de tomar notas mentales de los vestidos, accesorios, estilismos...!! De ahora en adelante, el cine va a ser parte de mi inspiracion!! Como no estando en Los Angeles?! Además es genial ver estas peliculas de los años 40 y 50!
