Hace ya unos meses que diseñé éste mi primer spanish fan bag (bolsos abanico español), o bolso empanadilla como me dijo una amiga y me hizo mucha gracia. Cuanta razón pero que poco glamour pensé..., y decidí llamarlo abanico, por su forma claro y por lo español del mítico accesorio. Además cuando se lleva de bolso de mano parece me siento yo muy flamenca! Tengo pendiente enseñaros los diseños marineros que hice para el verano... si es que desde que vuelto a la vida laboral tengo a mis musas y al blog y poco abandonadas... espero que no se enfaden. Os he echado de menos. Hasta pronto!Some months ago I designed this my very first bag, called fan bag, or empanadilla bag (how can I translate it?) as one friend told me very wisely ;-). It is very funny but not very glamorous..., so I decided to go for the fun bag name, obviously due to the shape and for the spanish flavour of this great accessory. I also feel very flamenca when I wear it as a clutch bag!
I have to show you this summer sailor style fan bags... Since I came back to work it has been a while without taking care of my muses and the blog... I hope they aren't disappointed with me. I missed you. See you soon!

Te lo dije!!! Que odiosa es esta expresión normalmente, pero en este caso se rompe la norma!!Hace unos meses escribí sobre una amiga y sus fantásticos diseños de chaquetas. Si lo recuerdas se titulaba algo así como una futura gran diseñadora. Pues sí, y aqui tenéis el editorial de la revista Vogue España donde salen sus preciosas chaquetas!!

Last holidays I went to a great exhibition "The Golden Age of Spanish High Fashion" in Oviedo (Spain). It was my mother in law idea and I want to thank her for this beautiful experience! . I really recommend you to go if you have the opportunity. It is open until 28th February!! I felt like a child in a candy store!! Silk, brocade, organza's... dresses were so amazing!! And I also could appreciate a gorgeous collection of hats and shoes!!
Some of these fantastic dresses and accesories were from Lanvin, Balenciaga, Pertegaz, Bastida, Mir y Rovira, Pedro Rodríguez... This Collection is called "Coleccion textil Antoni de Montpalau". Here you have some examples of this exhibition sponsored by Banco Herrero and Gobierno del Principado de Asturias.
En estas últimas vacaciones fui a una exposición fantástica "La edad de oro de la alta costura" en Oviedo (España). Fue idea de mi suegra y quiero agradecerle esta fantástica experiencia! Os recomiendo que vayais si tenéis oportunidad, estará abierta al público hasta el 28 de febrero.
Me sentí como un niño en un tienda de caramelos rodeada de vestidos espectaculares de seda, brocados, organza... Además pude disfrutar de una preciosa coleccion de SOMBREROS (que pasada!!!) y zapatos!!
Algunos de estos fantásticos vestidos son de grandes diseñadores como Lanvin, Balenciaga, Pertegaz, Bastida, Mir y Rovira, Pedro Rodríguez... Esta colección se llama "Coleccion textil Antoni de Montpalau". Aqui tenéis algunos ejemplos de esta exposición que sponsorizan el Banco Herrero y el Gobierno del Principado de Asturias.
